Top US TV host ‘exposes’ Trump; says Ghana’s economy is growing faster than America

Following President Trump’s State of the Union address this week, American TV host, Bianna Golodryga has described Ghana’s economy as one of the hottest and fastest growing economies in the world now.

Golodryga, also homed in on Trump’s assertion that the U.S. had the “hottest” economy in the world. Her comment takes into cognizance other developing countries GDP’s growth mentioning Ghana, China, Nigeria and India as one of the fastest growing economies in the world.

“There’s a difference if you are talking about a healthy economy and the hottest economy ever in history which is just not the case, Ghana’s economy is growing faster than the US economy, Nigeria’s economy is growing faster, India, even China’s economy is slowing but still growing at a faster rate than the US economy,” Golodryga stated.

Stephen Colbert host in The Hollywood Reporter’s Late-Night Lately also poked fun at Trump’s speech.

Stephen Colbert responded to Trump’s 2019 address by slanting the theme for this year’s address, “Choosing Greatness.”

“When it comes to the State of the Union, just like prom, there’s a special theme,” Colbert joked. “This year’s theme is Choosing Greatness. Yes, we get a choice. The other choices are Selecting Mediocrity, Settling for Racist, or Fish. I will take the fish please.”

Of the president’s assertion that the U.S. had the “hottest” economy in the world, Colbert joked, impersonating Trump, “It is so hot, if it wasn’t my economy, perhaps I’d be dating it.”
