The ex-wife of the lawmaker for Kumbungu constituency Ras Mubarak, Rasheeda Adams, has disclosed that staying in her marriage was like being in jail.
Although she refused to go to in details as to why she made such a statement, she stated that she prefers being alone and advised her mother to not disturb her with marriage.
The media personality posted on her Facebook that;
“Like I always say to my mum. “I’ve done my jail time”. Nobody should dare say the word “marriage” in my presence for the next 30 years. I can’t comman kee myself”

According to her, marriage is like being in jail and she has had enough of it. She indicated that she wants to have nothing to do with it anytime soon.
Her comments come from the commemoration of International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
