Ghana Premier league side Medeame will be sporting a new look thanks to Scottish manufacturing company Pokoo.
Scottish sportswear Pokoo’ will brand all Madeames’ sport apparels for home and away matches ahead of the new season, including souvenirs for football fans of Medeame.
The Scottish-based company has completed negotiations with the Mauve and Yellows over the partnership.
The deal has become necessary after the two-time FA Cup holders ended their one-year association with local sportswear firm Mayniak.
The Tarkwa-based side becomes the second Ghanaian cub after Ashantigold to be kitted by Pokoo.
The club however denied the rumors of signing a contract with ProEuro over the weekend.
U20 African Cup of Nations : Floodlights Forces Ghana to Reschedule Match with Burkina faso
Ghana’s opening clash with Burkina Faso at the U20 African Cup of Nations in Niger on Sunday was called off due to problems with the floodlights at the venue.
The Group B match which was scheduled to take place in the city of Maradi was suspended by the organisers due to a fault with the lightning system.
This could cause poor visibility during the match which was supposed to kick off at 19:30 pm local time.
This contingency forced the decision by the organisers to reschedule the match to a favorable time.
The decision will not affect the first match of the group as Senegal were scheduled to take on Mali at 16:30.
