GFA will introduce penalty shootout in Special competition


The Ghana Football Association has included penalty shootouts as part of the modalities for the Special Competition for the clubs.

In a bid to ensure that football is stabilized in the country, the Normalization Committee has organized a special competition which is slated for January 26.

One of the remarkable introductions to the competition is penalty shootouts.

According to President of the Normalisation Committee Dr Kofi Amoah, this is to help improve the art of penalty taking amongst players.

Penalties have been a major difficulty for Ghanaian players. From club football to national teams, it has been affected the country at crucial times.
