Makeup Ghana has finally opened nominations for the third edition of the annual Ghana Makeup Awards and deadline falls on 18th February,2018.
Makeup in recent times has been on the spotlight than it used to be years ago. The recent 10years challenge could attest to the difference in looks supposedly provided by age and beauty kits as well.
A woman can rarely move out to that dignified events like weddings, shows, graduations etc without a touch of makeup for some touch-ups. They believe that makeup helps in beauty enhancement and also boosts their confidence since they say, one is attracted by looks.
Some men, on the contrary, detest makeup with their own reasons. Some feel it sidelines the natural beauty and provides a transformation that only lasts for a while.
All over the world, makeup and beauty kits tend to boom in the market because of its consumption, therefore blogs, vlogs, agencies, schools, brands etc came to the scene due to the public attention given to it. Examples of products in Ghana include Beauty by Fella Makafui, She-Y by Menaye Donkor, MODA by Juliet Ibrahim etc.
The Ghana Makeup Awards is an industry award for the makeup and beauty industry, aimed at fostering excellence by rewarding and celebrating pioneers, leading professionals and upcoming talent within the industry, as well as businesses and brands who are contributing to economic growth.
